Floating Boat Ramp Docking Systems

Floating Docking System for Boats

It’s common knowledge that Wave Armor caters to life on the water. With its Wave Docks it elevates leisure time, the PWC ports take the complications out of getting your craft on the water, and the boat ports eliminate the need for boat ramps and towing, effectively dry-docking your vessel right off your dock.

Wave Armor offers two different floating boat ramps to accommodate average sized vessels. The two-piece system houses boats up to eighteen feet long, were the three-piece system takes on vessels up to thirty feet long. No matter the size of your vessel though the Wave Armor floating boat ramps are for you, with additional panels you can infinitely lengthen your wave port system. The ten-foot-wide platform evenly disperses weight as the boat is driven onto it, resulting in effortless lift from the superior buoyancy of Wave Armors floating ramp platforms.

The wave port SLX10-two-piece system carries on the durability Wave Armor is known for. The rotationally molded polyethene construction contains an EPS foam, ensuring you don’t have to worry about a puncture or wear compromising its buoyancy capabilities. The durable material is made to withstand life on the water, so you shouldn’t have to worry about wear anyway, especially with the eight-year warranty. The top of each platform is also imprinted with an aesthetically pleasing paver-stone pattern, making your floating boat ramp as attractive as your vessel.

The SLX10 two-piece boat port is sixteen feet long and ten feet wide – fitting perfectly into a ten-foot slip. The platforms included are an entrance deck with two bunks holding eight rollers each, and four heavy-duty keel rollers spanning the middle of the platform; the second platform is the main deck, holding an additional two keel rollers and keel rest. The bunks and rollers are adjustable and can be altered to fit practically any keel. Additional keel rollers are also available to assist in moving your vessel on and off the floating boat ramp. The panels fit together easily through a pin connection system, and only five tools are needed for constructing the entire boat port.

The floating boat ramp can be adapted to almost any docking situation with its various connection kits. The H-Beam side channel system allows you to easily install whichever connector best suits your situation. Mounting to the Wave Dock is the simplest method, with a poly direct connect receiver bracket utilizing the H-Beam system on the wave docks – and leaves a negligible amount of open space between your wave dock and your boat port. You can also utilize the c-channel aluminum brackets to attach your floating boat ramp to other brands of floating docks while keeping the two structures as close to each other as possible. If you are attaching to a fixed dock, there is a pipe mount with adjustable aluminum brackets and U-bolts. Lastly, there is also the option of anchoring your floating boat port independently through pipe mount installation, to absorb the stress of a pipe mount you can add pipe sleeves.
